GFB Plumbing (Plumber Carrollton 214-331-1748) is a Dallas based plumbing installation and service repair company specializing in all aspects of residential and commercial plumbing, including the tough jobs, like under-foundation slab leaks.

GFB offers the highest quality, professional plumbing and HVAC services for Dallas and the suburban Dallas area. Our professionally licensed servicemen are available to take on the lightest residential repair or your heaviest commercial project 24 hours a days, 7 days a week.

Many of the service calls we receive at Plumber Carrollton Texas are from clients with emergency situations, so we’re accustomed to responding quickly and getting the job done efficiently to help minimize your costs, while eliminating the potential for further property damage. Our professional technicians are available to help you 24/7/365.

Make Plumber Carrollton Your First Call

Anticipating the need for plumbing and HVAC services is sometimes impossible to plan. Many times, before you ever have any idea a problem is looming, an emergency arises. Few of us are as proactive as we could be when it comes to our plumbing and HVAC units, and eventually we are faced with the prospect of an emergency or an unanticipated repair.

And almost universally, plumbing and HVAC maintenance falls to a lower priority than say, our auto service repair or lawn maintenance. And it’s not because we don’t care, but rather because plumbing and HVAC is not something we think about every day.

Plumbing fixtures and HVAC units are “out-of-sight and out-of-mind”, and we have no real reason to check them until there is a visible problem. Or worse yet, we have a problem below the slab, where it’s not visible, and we have no way of detecting it until the problem has become significant.

Then, in an effort to quickly take care of the problem (now an emergency), consumers often fall into the trap of calling the first person they can find (potentially unlicensed and unqualified service providers), only to face the frustration and expense of their problem getting worse and becoming more complicated. The allure of cheap labor and equipment is an age old tactic that continues to entrap consumers. And worse, if you are not satisfied with the work performed by an unlicensed service company, you often have very little recourse.

Call Plumber Carrollton Whether You Have an Emergency or Need a Simple Maintenance Check

Even though some plumbing problems can’t be anticipated, it is important to resist the temptation to hire the first, or seemingly the cheapest, service provider you find.

Check them out first, before you hire them. Ask for references and proof of licensing. Although emergencies do call for immediate action, locating a local service company BEFORE your emergency arises is always a better solution.

Finding a qualified, licensed professional plumber to take care of the eventuality of a problem is vital to minimizing your costs. At Plumber Carrollton, our best advice is to take the time to search out and find a quality plumbing and HVAC service provider in advance of your next emergency. Talk to them, meet the owners, make sure they have a 24/7/365 attitude, and make sure you have their emergency contact information handy, in advance of your next emergency.

Ask questions like, ..”will there be a service fee for assessing a problem, and if so how much is it?” Also, investigate the legitimacy of the plumbing company by meeting them face them to face, and have them present the relevant licensing papers that show they are duly licensed. Ask for references from recent customers.

Investing 30 minutes in this process can potentially save hundreds of dollars if an emergency arises. So make Plumber Carrollton your next call. We want to be your plumbing service provider for life.

As we work to make this website (Plumber Carrollton.Org) a great resource for your plumbing and HVAC repairs, please take advantage of the informative and helpful videos we have posted below. And stay tuned while we develop Plumber Carrollton to bring you the best professional services possible .

Castle Square – A Change Is Gonna Come

Castle Square Apartments was built in the 1960s as part of urban renewal. Hundreds of tenement buildings were knocked down in Boston’s South End to make way for 500 apartments for low-income people. Now, twenty years later, residents are leading a trailblazing green renovation that will result in energy savings that have never been achieved on existing buildings in the US

Lighthome sustainable design; Design ambassador’s choice – Christian residence

This innovative inner-city renovation cleverly and efficiently combines old and new. Light Home Design Ambassador Ed Ewers chose architect Matt Gibson’s ‘Christian’ residence in Melbourne’s Flemington because “it’s efficient, contemporary and respectful.” Ewers says that the home is a really good example of light weight construction being used in an inner-city renovation and revitalisation. “It’s a respectful marriage of old and new,” he says of the renovation. “Flemington’s a fairly historical suburb which has pretty good housing stock from the turn of the century, so what you see is a respect of that as well as they wow factor on the side and the rear.” “What Matt’s managed to do is clean up the original home, show it off for what it is, and then contrast that with this pretty crisp box that ticks a lot of boxes.”

Learning from Swedish Home Building

This video piece explains the premise of why we in the United States can benefit from adopting house building techniques developed in Sweden. Specifically this video series will focus on residential wall systems. The video touches on many ideas which are explained in greater depth in entries to the LamiDesign Modern House Plan blog, in a series of posts tagged Letters from Sweden. Here are links to some specific topics touched on in the video: This post “Letters from Sweden – Europe is different, Sweden is not, sort of..” elaborates on the similarities and differences between the housing industries in both countries: blog.lamidesign.com The book “Coming in From the Cold” makes a detailed account of Sweden’s response to the 1970′s oil crisis. This book was written in the 1980s when it became apparent to scientists that Sweden was using much less energy per household than the US. This was 25 years ago. Sweden has gotten even better at it since then. US, not so much. We describe the book here: blog.lamidesign.com We also made a fairly detailed examination of the typical construction of a Swedish residential wall. This will expand on the very brief description in the video, and you can find that here: blog.lamidesign.com You read the entire Letters from Sweden series by clicking on the respective link under the blog post title. The USA New Wall, and Swedish Platform Framing are an outgrowth of this research. You can find details of the USA New Wall here: blog.lamidesign.com
